Outfits aren't featured all too often here on Rosy Smiles.. as for some reason I'm much more concerned with what goes on my face than on my body! But when I met up with the gorgeous Beth for some brunch (post coming soon!) I couldn't not take advantage of a fellow blogger to take pictures. 

I went for my go-to autumn look; skirt, turtle-neck, boots, trench. I genuinely have this outfit in about 7 different colours. It's just so wearable. Usually I go for plain skirts (particularly the suede variety) but this pink floral one from New Look is so cute and well structured that it's a treat to wear! Simple, effective and easy. Everything I want from an outfit.

Raspberry ripple cone. 

Liverpool is sprouting up new eateries left right & centre at the minute, and it's probably one of my favourite things about living here. Although Neon Jamon has had a venue out in Allerton for a while, I only got around to popping in now they've opened their Berry Street location.
As an after work treat, a friend and I popped in to suss out the Catalan inspired food and tapas. 

Upon arrival we obviously ordered a jug of sangria, and we were lucky enough to get the lunch time deal of 2 plates for £8(!). I could've ordered the whole menu; cheese, meats, breads and fish galore! But we limited ourselves to the Chargrilled Pork Pinxtos, Sauteed Mushrooms, Patatas Bravas, Croquettas and the Galacian Clams. 

The dishes were absolutely delicious, with my particular favourite being a toss-up between the Pinxtos and the Clams. I think the Clams may have the edge, sauteed with garlic, sherry, chilli and herbs we even ordered some bread to dip in the sauce. Waste not want not!
The only dish I probably wouldn't order again was the mushrooms. They were tasty but because they were creamed the garlic and herbs were quite sickly to me. 

To finish we ordered what may be the cutest desserts ever. The big kid that I am opted for the Raspberry Ripple Cone whereas Lily chose the Gin & Tonic Sorbet. Unfortunately it had slightly melted but she assured me it was amazing none the less!

With first class service from the moment you set foot inside, Neon Jamon is an utter joy to eat at and I don't think it will be too long before I'm dragging everyone I know back for those amazing clams - and more importantly the sangria! Aisling. xo
