'Yard Burger.' |
'Dead Man's Swerve.' |
The deep-south inspired eatery offers all things chicken (obviously) including wings, burgers served in brioche buns and good old chicken pieces. Although it was a super tough decision with the amazing range of burgers, I opted for the 'Dead Man's Swerve' . Tasty chicken pieces covered in hot buffalo sauces with pickles. In all honesty the pickles weren't for me so I did pick some of them off (oops!) but the burger was incredible! The sauce is not for the faint-hearted, it was majorly spicy but that's my kinda burger so I loved it. The sides range from chips to cauliflower cheer and even friend banana! We played it safe with the the 'Salt 'n' peppa 'chips 'n' gravy' and the 'Maple Bacon Onion Rings' which may be one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Imagine an onion ring, wrapped in bacon and then drenched with maple syrup. Oh my god.
My favourite part of the meal was that the burger was served with a lollipop shoved in the top! The perfect after dinner treat without being too heavy on the tummy. Although the size of the restaurant was quite small I loved the homely feel it gave to the place, there was only a few members of staff on but this made the place feel even more personal. Excellent service and amazing food means it won't be too long before I'm back! Aisling. xo
