Naked Flushed by Urban Decay.

The first review from my little haul! As I’ve said loads before I’m really into contouring and highlighting at the minute. Most of the products I use for this are Illamasqua that I unfortunately cannot afford to wear all the time. I’ve been looking for a little duo/trio palette to use everyday so I picked up Naked Flushed by Urban Decay as I’m already a big fan of the Naked eye-shadow palettes.

This lovely compact has everything a girl needs for glowing cheeks! It contains a matte bronzer, which is medium-tan with orange-brown undertones. A champagne beige highlighter with a frosted finish and a medium-dark rosy pink blush is a with a hint of coral and a matte finish.

Spring Beauty Haul!

My favourite thing to blog about! I went a little spending crazy over the past few weeks, and collectively it all amounted to a rather large beauty haul. I love noseying at what other people are buying so I thought I would do a little post to show you all what I picked up!

I (shockingly) forgot I’m a member of the Debenhams Beauty Club until I recently got a little catalogue in the post from them. I went online to see what newbies they had and this is when it all started! First up I went on over Urban Decay to take a look at their Naked range and finally picked up the gorgeous Naked 3. Personally I wasn’t fussed on picking up Naked 3 when it came out. I’m not a fan of pink tones on my eyes but after reading many a review I bit the bullet and bought it. Super excited to see what looks I can achieve with this palette! Whilst browsing the Naked range I also picked up the lovely Naked Flushed palette. I’m really into contouring/highlighting at the minute and I’ve been looking for a more budget friendly kit than my Illamasqua Sculpting Duo. Although I’ve heard good things about the Sleek kit, I’m already a firm fan of the Naked range so I opted for this one.

Next up I ventured into the world of YSL for the first time ever! Touche Éclat is such a holy grail product I have no idea why it took me so long to buy it. To make up (no pun intended) for this I bought it in two.. Some may say excessive I say genius.

Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter by Bodyshop.

Recently hair care has been a major priority for me. Unfortunately having bleached blonde hair leads to a-lot of dry split ends. I am desperately trying to get my hair to grow at the minute so I am literally giving anything a go! I picked up this hair butter in my little Bodyshop haul as it’s specifically made for dry hair.

The first thing I noticed about this was how rich and creamy the product was, it’s so thick and I knew from just looking at it that it would benefit those pesky split ends. It smells of honey too, yum.

The product contains pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and honey (hence the smell).

Neutral Palette by Illamasqua.

Hello gorgeous people! Today I decided to put up another vlog for you all to have a nosey at, and I'm talking about my number 1 night out palette by Illamasqua. Enjoy!

Here's a few more pictures as I'm aware the camera on my MacBook isn't the best at focusing/picking up colours.

Nevada by Topshop.

2 posts in 3 days, where has this organisation come from?! If you follow me on twitter (and if not, get on it here!) you’ll know I went a bit lipstick crazy recently. I think I bought 4 in a week, oops. Today I’m going to talk about Nevada from the Topshop make-up range.

I went into Toppers with the intention of picking up a dark lipstick (I’m addicted) but convinced myself to go for a nude colour as I’m seriously lacking in that department! I think I have one gloss that I bought on a whim but I’m not fussed on it anymore.

Tag! The Face Five Challenge.

Hello lovelies! Todays post is a tag challenge! Gillian from tagged me to take part in the Five Face Tag, Basically the tag involves having to do a complete make-up look using only 5 products. SO hard! I definitely use 5 products just to get my foundation right.

Here’s a quick run-down of the rules.

1.Use five and only five products to create a complete makeup look
2. Each different product counts and 1 product (multipurpose products count as 1 product such as Benetint, Bombshell the One Stick, Nars Multipurpose Stick)
3. No palettes are allowed. No trios, quads or multi-shade palettes
4. Tag five others to complete the Face Five Challenge
5. Have fun!

Sooo here it goes. I actually vlogged this for fun! Although I’m not sure if you can understand me, I tend to speak super quickly.

Here's the vlog, and I'll give you a run down underneath!

Glissade by Illamasqua.

Hello lovelies! I know I only did an Illamasqua post recently (and I have a backlog of their products waiting to be reviewed) but I just had to blog about my first Glamore piece, I’ve been looking forward to it sooo much.

As soon as I saw Illamasqua had a new collection coming out I was so eager to see it! The ‘sneak-peek’ pictures left me so intrigued, as they looked so vibrant for what I would call a quite dark brand. As soon as launch day arrived I was all over my favourite MUA’s twitters and instagrams (@IllamasquaCharl, @IllamasquaLeena – twitter and @violetdollface - instagram) to nosey at the new products, and what can I say? The collection is beautiful.

Mini Beauty Haul!

Hey gorgeous bloggers! As if it’s March already? Just a quick one today to show you some of the treats I picked up for myself after my hellish February spending ban!

I went shopping with the intent of only going into the Body Shop to pick up a new product from their Seaweed range (it does wonders for my skin). But the offers were so good in there I ended up picking up a few other bits too..

But first I’ll show you my Seaweed purchases! First up I got the Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask as part of a ‘Mattifying Duo’. I haven’t had a facemask in forever and I was planning on picking up one so when I saw this I knew it would be perfect. It’s meant to draw out impurities and clarify the skin, and I can’t wait to try it out!
