No. 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick Review.

2.2.14

The birds seem to like it.

Another No. 7 post sorry guys. But I really can’t get enough of those money off vouchers when they’re out! Todays post is on one of my most loved make-up items, lipstick! Anyone who knows me will tell you that my favourite lip colour is dark purple. So because I had my little voucher I decided to step out of my comfort zone and go for a Barbie pink colour called Mischief. I went for the Stay Perfect range as I've heard some good things about it and I love anything that stays put!

Swatch on my very pale skin.
Prior to use I thought that this lipstick would be matte (my personal favourite) but when it went on I found it to have a more shimmery finish.
I wasn’t too fussed on this part of the lippy however I did like how it glided on my lips and kept them hydrated, something I struggle with usually. The Boots website suggests that the product has ‘colour that lasts up to 8 hours’.. okay then. I personally didn’t find this to be true but I never shut up do quite a bit of talking which may have affected it. I will say that it's transfer resistance is quite good for colour, but there was some kind of creamy residue on the glass when I looked at it. Yum...

Shimmer shimmer.
I like the packaging for this item, it’s very sleek and rich looking. Although for £9.75 a pop it would have to be! And I did really like the colour apart from the shimmer, but you can’t win 'em all as they say. I’m glad I bought this as a little change from my purple and red lips but I don’t think I’ll be going back for another.

Have you tried the No 7 Stay Perfect range? xo

  1. This lipstick looks so pretty! I love No7 lipsticks, so I will have to look at this the next time I'm in Boots as I need a break from red lips!
